WHY SPLITZERO

Why we built SplitZero.

SplitZero is a training tracking app for IPSC, USPSA and IDPA shooters — build a drill library, log sessions in seconds, and stay consistent. We built it because tracking practical shooting practice deserved better than a Notes app and better than a habit tracker that shames you for missing a day.

PRINCIPLE 01

Training rhythm over streaks.

Progress in practical shooting comes from coming back, not from an unbroken chain. SplitZero shows your training history and active weeks — never a streak counter that punishes a rest day. The goal is a sustainable rhythm, not a guilt loop.

PRINCIPLE 02

A no-guilt logging workflow.

Most tracking apps optimise for engagement: notifications, badges, pressure. We optimise for getting you back to the range or the dry fire area. No streak anxiety, no guilt notifications — just a calm record of the work you put in.

PRINCIPLE 03

Five seconds to log, then back to training.

A session in SplitZero is a calculator, not a form. Tap, save, next. Logging a run takes under five seconds so the app gets out of the way. Four scoring modes — reps only, time per rep, par time and hit factor — are picked per drill, not fought with per session.

PRINCIPLE 04

Your drills. Your library. Yours.

Build a reusable drill library once — Bill Drill, draws, reloads, transitions, weak hand work — and start any session in a single tap. The app works for both live fire and dry fire, because consistent practice happens in both.

Build your drills once. Come back tomorrow.
